Patricia "Pat" Lucas, age 84, of Homer Glen, born on August 29, 1928 in Elkhorn, Wisconsin, at rest February 24, 2013 after a long struggle with Alzheimer's Disease. Loving wife of Robert for 64 years. Dearest mother of Steven (Jane) Lucas and Cheryl (Richard) Mauzer. Cherished grandmother of Andreya (Jason) Post, Christine (Vinnie) Singh and Sarah Lucas; beloved great-grandmother of Chloe, Calvin and Fiona Post, and Surya and Raveena Singh; devoted daughter of the late Letha and William Mecklenburg. Fond sister of the late William (Deborah) Mecklenburg, loving aunt of Elizabeth (Jeoffrey) Robinson, William (Christine) Mecklenburg, Kenneth (Paulette) Schultz and Patricia (Mark Fallon) Schultz. Patricia graduated from the Illinois Masonic School of Nursing and went to work in the Labor and Delivery Department of Little Company of Mary Hospital in Evergreen Park, Il for many years. She joined Dr. Albert Moran, Dr. Jose Cava and Dr. Benjamin Jagodzinski when they opened their OB/GYN practice in 1963 (Omnibus Medical Group) and retired in 1995 after 32 years.
